Welcome To The Webring Section of The Dog Hub
At the Dog Hub we love dogs. There are many wonderful breeds of dogs.
All the way from tiny toy breeds
like Chihuahuas to Golden Retrievers, dogs are everywhere. Every breed of dog has its own unique set of traits that make them special.
At the core however, all dogs share some common traits that make them what they are and separate them from all other animals.
Our webrings are a great way to bring communities of dog lovers together from
all over. Our webrings connect breed specific websites together thus showcasing that breed. Ours were built to
make breed specific communities that are connected together with the exception of the Dog Lovers Club. The Dog Lovers Club is for dog websites
that are not breed specific. These webrings exist thanks to the partnership of the dog boutique that sponsors them.
Even though webrings have been around for a while
the one that we have built is different and far better than the ones you see out there.
The Super Ring
What is the "Super Ring?" In short, we have placed many smaller webrings into a really large one and connected them all together. Most webrings are centered around a single topic and once you get to the end of all the sites in that ring you are done. This has been done a million times and has been around for quite a while. While the typical webring is not a bad thing, it is old and outdated. Most everyone knows what a webring is. You place a small graphic on your site that has some "previous" and "next" links on it. When a visitor clicks one of those links it takes them to another site in the ring. Many of these webrings are a jumbled mess and are full of sites that should not be there. Therefore, the real sense of community can get lost. We make sure that does not happen here. It is time to step into the modern age with something that is much improved on an old idea. In fact, I don't think that there is anywhere on the internet that you can find a webring like the one we have built. We are pleased with the outcome and hope that you will want to become a part of it.
So if you are a dog lover and own a breed specific site you can join by clicking on your breed to the right and get started. If you have a
basic dog website that is not breed specific, you can join the Dog Lovers Club ring at the bottom.
